1About this notice#

1.1 This notice covers the website at dreamgate.one (the "Website"), provided by Adnap LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company doing business as ADNAP Industries ("we", "us").

1.2 The DreamGate app has its own App Privacy Policy. The short version for both: we collect as little as possible, and we never sell or share personal information.

2What the Website doesn't do#

  • No cookies set by us.
  • No analytics, heatmaps or session recording.
  • No advertising or social-media tracking pixels.
  • No third-party scripts, fonts or embeds. Everything the Website loads comes from dreamgate.one, and its security policy blocks the browser from loading scripts from anywhere else.

3What stays in your browser#

3.1 Night mode. If you switch on night mode, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage, so the page remembers it next time. It isn't sent to us or anyone else, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

3.2 The demo. The card-sorting demo runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into it is stored or sent anywhere.

4Hosting and server logs#

4.1 The Website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. To deliver pages and protect the Website from abuse, Cloudflare processes standard technical information for each request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. Cloudflare handles it under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

4.2 We don't use this information to identify, track or profile visitors. We haven't turned on Cloudflare's analytics products. If Cloudflare's security systems need to check that a visitor isn't an automated attack, Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie [TO CONFIRM: Cloudflare security settings in use].

5Launch updates#

5.1 The launch list is run by Buttondown, an email service. When you sign up, your email address goes to Buttondown, and you'll get a message asking you to confirm it.

5.2 We use your address for one purpose: telling you when DreamGate is available. We've switched off open and click tracking, so we don't know whether you open our emails or click their links. We never sell or share your address.

5.3 Every email has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing removes you from the list, and you can ask us to delete your address completely at any time. We delete the whole list 6 months after DreamGate launches.

5.4 Buttondown handles your address under its own privacy policy.

6Email to us#

6.1 Our addresses on dreamgate.one (such as hello@ and legal@) use Cloudflare Email Routing, which forwards messages to our private inbox. Cloudflare processes messages in transit to deliver them.

6.2 If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to reply and to keep a record of our correspondence, and we delete it within 24 months of our last exchange, or sooner if you ask.

7Legal bases (EU and UK)#

If EU or UK data protection law applies to you:

  • launch list: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing;
  • replying to your emails: our legitimate interest in answering you;
  • server logs: our legitimate interest in delivering and securing the Website.

8Your rights#

8.1 Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict how it's used, and to withdraw consent. The only personal information the Website can give us is a launch-list email address, or the email you send us.

8.2 To use these rights, email legal@dreamgate.one. We'll answer promptly, and we won't treat you differently for asking.

8.3 If you're in the EU, the UK or another place with a data protection authority, you can complain to that authority.

9International transfers#

We are based in the United States, and Cloudflare and Buttondown may process information in the United States and other countries [TO CONFIRM: transfer mechanisms for EU/UK visitors, e.g. the providers' standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework].

10Children#

The Website and the launch list are meant for adults, like the app itself. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has joined the launch list, email us and we'll delete the address.

11Changes#

If we change this notice, we'll update the version and date at the top and add the change to section 13.

12Contact#

Adnap LLC, doing business as ADNAP Industries, Massachusetts, USA. Email legal@dreamgate.one about privacy, or hello@dreamgate.one about anything else.
